If you live in or near London, you may be interested in attending a non-denominational memorial service on June 28 for anyone who has experienced infertility, failed fertility treatment, miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, premature menopause, stillbirth, neonatal death, or unwanted childlessness.
You don’t need to be religious to attend – the service is open to people of all faiths and none, and consists of music, readings and participatory ritual. Attendees will be invited to light a candle for the missing child, or children, in their life. The service lasts for about an hour and hopes to provide an opportunity for experiences of loss to be mourned in the company of sympathetic people with similar experiences of their own.
